The good news is this: Jesus is still indignant when the vulnerable are pushed aside. Jesus is still gathering the ones everyone else turned away and blessing them. Jesus is still saying, “Let them come.” And Jesus is still looking at his followers and asking us to do the same.
How are the children? May we create a world in which it can be said that the children are well. All the children are well. Because we are making it so.
