To worship God in spirit and in truth can be costly – but it is the only thing that truly satisfies. If we want to worship in spirit and truth, if we want to be filled by God, we have to turn away from the substitutes we've been using. That can cost us something. And worship in spirit and truth should be costly. We worship a God who gave everything so that we could know the truth that sets us free. Love like that deserves our all in response.
