Even when we don't see God at work, God DOES hear us and see us. That's the promise of our gospel text today. “Aren’t two sparrows sold for a small coin? But not one of them will fall to the ground without your Father knowing about it already. Even the hairs of your head are all counted. Don’t be afraid. You are worth more than many sparrows.”
Whether you feel unseen and unheard, whether you are despairing, or holding on by a thread, or fiercely taking care of yourself because no one else has, I pray you will hear and take this promises to heart: God hears you. God sees you. God has already provided for you what you need. May you have eyes to see and ears to hear and know that deep in your heart this day. Amen.
