Psalm 8, 1 John 4:7-12
Copy, God Joy

We are called to rest in the wonder of our big God, and let it compel us to live in the light of infinite divine love, extending love and grace to ourselves and our neighbors. If God cares about us, we have to care about each other. That's not a suggestion. That's the shape of the image we bear. It is hard to love in this way, but it is what we are called to do, to take small steps each day to bring about the kingdom of heaven here on earth.

The world doesn't need a telescope to see God. They need to see his people love. When we love the way God loves, we copy God - and find the joy God designed us for. The deepest human joy is not reaching the moon. It is reflecting the love of the One who made it. We are Easter people, and we have seen Christ raised from the dead. Let’s live like it. Copy, God joy. Amen.
